DO YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR CLASSES?
The Cairn Grapplers Club is a FREE Club, open to all students of the Cairn University. We also offer private lessons to students who may feel shy about coming to class and having people watch them. What we recommend though is that you bring a buddy with you because then it's easier for the instructor to teach.

ARE WOMEN ALLOWED TO JOIN THE CLUB? IS THE CLUB CO-ED?
The answers are yes and yes! Although we do not force men and women to work together within the club, we allow both men and women to join the club. We encourage people to bring friends when coming (especially women) because sometimes it allows them to feel more comfortable for their first few classes. Especially for those who are brand new to martial arts.

WHAT IS THE IMPORTANCE OF LEARNING MARTIAL ARTS?
The importance is learning martial arts for ones life is highly important and honestly life altering. You learn basic techniques and principles which apply not only to the training room but real life. Training will not only make you a more formidable opponent but also will make you a better human being. There are multiple ways which one becomes a better human being. Learning and growing in mixed martial arts forces you to focus on high level problem solving in the moment with real consequences which forces you to be entirely present. It forces you to build discipline, a good work ethic and it forces you to look introspectively into yourself. There is no "lying" on the mats, your skill is your skill and it can be a wonderful and necessary wake up call to most people. But, once you start training and you get better, you can start to walk in confidence and start to feel more comfortable within your own skin.
